This Is How We Change the World


Humanity is our future—we, human beings, are the future of this world. If we want a future, if we want future generations to have a future, we have to get serious about taking care of humanity. Everyone talks about world peace, attaining a sense of well-being, and improving the environment—everyone talks about it because we are all in a desperate need of healing. Our world has to change if we want a healthy future, and change will not happen until we get to the core of why hurt exists, and why humanity and our Earth are both suffering. Dysfunctional business practices are the cause of the hurt, and functional business practices are the solution.

Across the world, businesses have the collective power to change our existence for the better. Collectively (and even some individually), businesses have enough money and talented people to overcome the massive hurt we’ve caused both the human race and the Earth. From taking care of individual people, to passing healthy global legislation and cleaning the waterways of our world, it’s business that has the ability to make the change we so desperately need to make.

People have tumors throughout their bodies because of chemicals in our food. We can’t swim safely in fresh water lakes because our water is, or is becoming, toxic. Our oceans are filled with garbage, and indigenous people all over the world can’t eat their food supply out of the oceans because fish are filled with toxicity. Climate change is real, and our Earth is experiencing extreme weather because she’s in pain. We choose to put carbon into the atmosphere because oil makes money—even though we already have the technology to eliminate the need for harmful fuels.

Humanity is our future. If we are to create an Earth where peace exists, where people can actually drink water and eat food safely, where oceans aren’t filled with chemicals, and where people can feel good again, then improving the health and well-being of humanity needs to be the core purpose of every business in existence—period. If it’s not, dysfunctional people will continue to covet money as their harmful addiction, and they’ll continue to make poor business choices based on that harmful addiction. The result of those dysfunctional decisions will be a world that no longer has a need for money—because humanity will no longer exist. We can have all the health and wellness programs we want, but until every business chooses to operate by the policy of Do No Evil, our world and all of humanity will continue to suffer.

You might be thinking, You can’t just blame business. Yes, I can. Dysfunctional business is to blame. The whole world can blame dysfunctional business for the harmful state we’re in, because it’s truth. You see, it’s pure economics: Business, government, and consumers together are driving dysfunctional business decisions. At face value, these three components of economics appear separate. In fact, you may say, “Consumer demand is what drives the goods and services businesses choose to produce. Consumers can just stop purchasing. Government is there to help balance and protect consumers from poor business practices, and to ensure the well-being of the people who live within its jurisdiction. Government can just shut business down.” Sounds good on paper, but here’s the reality: It makes no difference what side of economics you’re on—business, government, or consumer—everyone’s in bed with each other.

You see, dysfunctional businesses give dysfunctional government money as a form of persuasion. Government officials have stock in the businesses that make them money. This happens under the table and on top of the table all the time. Businesses have become master psychologists, and have figured out how to manipulate marketing efforts to increase consumer purchasing power for the benefit of selling their specific goods and services. Consumers have stock all over the place, and even though most people individually care about the world, and they want to do good for humanity, there are many dysfunctional consumers who choose to invest their money in businesses that give them the greatest return on investment regardless of their evil business practices. Furthermore, consumers are choosing to give away their power and political rights because they’re not choosing to educate themselves and actually use the rights and power they have. The metric of societal dysfunction in the US is the GDP.

Here’s the deal: It’s not money that’s evil. What’s evil is the act of coveting money for power. Millions of people in this world are functional, energetically healthy, and have the power to change the existence of humanity and our Earth for the better. Amazing businesses throughout the world are making a positive difference every day—for-profit or not-for-profit, it doesn’t matter. You see, money itself is beautiful, and we’re going to need a whole hell of a lot of it to make this world healthy again. And our world and all of humanity will become healthy again. This is inevitable, because too many of us who are energetically healthy and powerful human beings are coming together with collective strength to change this world. Together, as a collective, we’re entering this battle with passion and perseverance, and our only weapons are belief, hope, and determination that we will win—period.

If you haven’t already, open your eyes, look around, get out of your microcosmic existence, and physically look at the pain that poor business decisions have caused our world. Then choose to change. Choose to become functional. Choose to put healthy energy back into this world.
